Singularity

Xeno is not an invasion. It is evolution.

There is no single species, civilization, or form that defines Xeno. It is a living collective of alien organisms, artificial lifeforms, sentient beings, and civilizations gathered from untold worlds. Their origins are as varied as their silhouettes, with many having been encountered throughout the far reaches of Ythram, the Realm from which Xeno originates.

At the heart of Ythram lies Eionaris, the homeworld of Nexahl V'oth and the center of the Xeno collective. Little is known of the world beyond what its inhabitants have carried beyond its borders. Whether the countless species encountered among Xeno originated on Eionaris, elsewhere in Ythram, or were brought into the collective from distant Realms remains uncertain.

At the center of them all is Nexahl V'oth.

A hive intelligence of immense and growing complexity, Nexahl  V'oth assimilates the minds of those it encounters, absorbing their memories, knowledge, and abilities into its collective consciousness. A conquered being may retain its original body and personality, but its thoughts no longer belong solely to itself.

The cosmic scourge has deemed this process “Unburdening”.

To Nexahl V'oth, individuality is unnecessary suffering. Separation creates ignorance, conflict, loneliness, and fear. To be Unburdened is to surrender those limitations and become part of something greater, something pure. Some willingly accept it. Others resist until resistance is no longer possible; the all consuming entity is inevitable. 

Every mind absorbed makes the collective more capable. Every species provides new biological possibilities. Every civilization contributes its instincts, technology, and experience. The Nexus has become the ultimate evolutionary environment for Xeno. It has only accelerated this process, exposing countless Realms and possibilities that could never have been encountered within Ythram alone.

Nexahl V’oth does not seek to conquer existence, but to unify it. Its ultimate ambition is to erase the distinction between self and other until nothing remains outside the collective.Individuality is an illusion, and conflict only exists because existence has not yet become one. The promise is simple: Adapt. Assimilate. Ascend.

And when everything has become Nexahl V’oth, there will be no one left to disagree.
