These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Axion Forge website ("Site"), operated by Axion Games ("Axion Games," "we," "us," or "our").
By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Site.
Intellectual Property
Axion Games owns or controls the rights to the Axion Forge intellectual property ("IP"), except where otherwise stated or where rights are held by third parties.
The Axion Forge IP includes, but is not limited to:
Characters and character concepts;
Character names, identities, personalities, histories, and relationships;
Character designs and other original character-related expression;
Fictional settings, worlds, locations, lore, histories, and stories;
Original written material, dialogue, descriptions, and other text;
Logos, names, trademarks, and branding;
Game concepts and creative direction;
Gameplay systems, rules, mechanics, and features, to the extent protectable under applicable law;
Original artwork and other visual assets, to the extent protected by applicable intellectual-property law;
Audio, music, and other media, to the extent protected by applicable intellectual-property law; and
Other original creative elements associated with Axion Forge.
Nothing in these Terms grants you ownership of or any intellectual-property rights in the Axion Forge IP.
AI-Assisted Content
Some visual materials associated with Axion Forge may have been created with the assistance of generative artificial intelligence tools.
To the extent particular AI-generated imagery or other material is not protected by copyright under applicable law, we do not claim copyright ownership over that material solely on the basis of its AI generation.
However, the use of AI-assisted material does not eliminate rights that may exist in separately protectable human-authored elements associated with Axion Forge.
This may include human-authored character concepts, character designs, written works, worldbuilding, creative arrangements, selection and arrangement of materials, branding, and other original expression, to the extent such elements are protected by applicable intellectual-property law.
We reserve all rights in the Axion Forge IP and in all elements for which Axion Games or its licensors have legally protectable rights.
Restrictions on Use
Unless we expressly authorize you to do so, you may not:
Copy, reproduce, or redistribute substantial portions of Axion Forge's original content;
Reuse Axion Forge characters, character designs, settings, lore, or other IP in a manner that suggests affiliation with or endorsement by Axion Games;
Use Axion Forge IP to create or distribute derivative works where such use is not permitted by applicable law;
Sell, license, or commercially exploit Axion Forge IP;
Use Axion Forge characters, names, logos, designs, or other branding to market another product or service;
Claim ownership of Axion Forge IP;
Remove copyright, trademark, attribution, or other proprietary notices where applicable; or
Use Axion Forge IP in a way that infringes applicable intellectual-property rights.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to restrict rights that you may have under applicable law, including rights that cannot lawfully be waived or restricted.
Fair Use and Other Legal Rights
Nothing in these Terms is intended to prevent uses of Axion Forge material that are permitted by applicable law.
For example, applicable law may permit certain uses for purposes such as commentary, criticism, news reporting, education, parody, or other legally protected purposes.
Whether a particular use is legally permitted depends on the circumstances and applicable law.
Site Use
You may use the Site for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
You may not:
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site or systems connected to it;
Interfere with the operation or security of the Site;
Introduce malicious software or other harmful material;
Use automated methods to abuse, disrupt, or excessively burden the Site; or
Use the Site in violation of applicable law.
Third-Party Links
The Site may contain links to third-party websites, platforms, or services, including social and community platforms.
These third-party services are not operated or controlled by Axion Games. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms, rules, and policies.
Site Availability and Changes
We may modify, update, suspend, or discontinue the Site or any portion of it at any time.
Information regarding Axion Forge, including development plans, features, designs, gameplay, release dates, or other future plans, may change without notice and does not constitute a promise that any particular feature, design, or release will occur.
Disclaimer
The Site and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
We do not guarantee that the Site will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that information provided through the Site will always be complete or current.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Axion Games and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from or relating to your use of, or inability to use, the Site.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
If we make changes, we will update the Effective Date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Site after updated Terms are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.
